MOUNTAIN RIDGE OF PINEVILLE
The Mountain Ridge development site has been selected after an extensive search of Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri. The goal was simple the very best property that offered not only all the amenities that people are looking for but also the best possible views from each lot location and accessibility for people to commute to and from work. Mountain Ridge not only meets all the requirements but surpasses them. Located just eight miles from the Arkansas border with city water, sewer, and natural gas. Mountain Ridge runs next to the new highway 71 corridor with the entrance located next to the on and off ramps for Pineville on H highway. It took just one trip for Robert L. Hummel to drive onto the property and drive the three mile long property that slowly rises from the front to the back and he realized that this was the perfect location for his development. One of our best selling points and the reason that you will want to live at Mountain Ridge is the spectacular view each and every house will have from one of the highest points in the county. With the addition of McDonald County into the Northwest Arkansas metropolitan area, a rare opportunity developed to build quality housing for the influx of professionals and retirees. Robert L. Hummel has a history of setting new benchmarks for quality and character in each and every development. Hummel Homes of Missouri plans to continue with the same brand of quality and integrity in the development of Mountain Ridge.
ROBERT L. HUMMEL EXPERIENCE
Robert L. Hummel started his career at the ground floor, working as a laborer on a multitude of different construction activities, including deep tunnel work, caisson construction, interstate highway and toll way construction, high-rise construction, bridge work etc. His strong back was matched with an exceptional work ethic and skill in state of the art construction methods. In a short period of time, Mr. Hummel was supervising highly complex and dangerous construction activities for projects such as the construction of the 1st National Bank building in Chicago and a fourteen-story mixed-use development at Polk and Ashland Avenues in Chicago. Mr. Hummel founded the Hummel Construction Company in 1963, and began providing overall construction management services to a multitude of high-rise builders. One such company was Building Systems Housing, Corporation, a public company that implement the flying forms system of high-rise construction, an innovation that deployed a tower crane for installation of y-shaped prefabricated metal forms that were welded in a spiral pattern, vastly enhancing efficiency and bottom-line savings. The Hummel Construction Company performed site work and construction management for several such projects, including the Valley Lake Apartment Complex, a series of four buildings ranging from five to seven stories in the Village of Schaumburg.
